Various persons within the firm provide support to develop each person's potential and to cultivate on a day to day basis relations based upon both closeness and confidence
Team leaders
, who are operative in their projects, also provide internal supervision for up to fifteen members of staff. Their job for this team is:
- To facilitate the integration of new arrivals and interns
- To ensure throughout the relevance of project allocations
- To provide advice on career development throughout time at Solucom
- To facilitate advancement by setting personal targets
Beyond the regular, informal discussions between employees and their team leaders, the annual review is a major meeting, to update on jobs completed, to share objectives and to set up development actions (type of jobs to come, training, coaching, internal mobility and more).
On a daily basis project managers
also have a key role to play in supporting employees for whom they have operational responsibility
: passing on trade know-how, project methodology, knowledge sharing and the firm's best practices.
The
local HR managers must ensure best HR practice and offer their support to members of staff
. They also get involved in training projects, internal mobility, and even in preparing employees for their annual review
Des "Joint" HR processes
In order to ensure both the relevance and fairness of our decisions, all the firm's key HR processes are team led. Allocation to jobs, career developments, salary increases - all major decisions for employees are taken jointly by the management teams.
