Staff development goes through
Solucom University
, an ambitious training programme, which operates across the company, with three objectives
- To provide long-term support for staff advancement,
- To encourage the sharing of best practice and experiences,
- To spread the firm's culture and values.
Solucom University provides made-to-measure training to meet each employee's requirements at each stage of their career path within the company, built around 3 areas:

Business area
: running meetings, holding workshops, producing deliverables, client relations and more.

Communications
: expressing oneself convincingly, developing the impact of speaking skills and more.

Management
: maximising working time, leading a project team.
Solucom University also offers team leaders (or future ones) sessions on developing leadership skills and management procedures.
Some of these training sessions are given by Solucom employees, others by outside training bodies, and some are joint ventures from within and outside the company. The outside training bodies have been selected based upon a rigorous specification, just as for the internal trainers, identified by their teaching qualities to pass on their know-how and share their experience
The training sessions are organised in a transverse manner so that staff from different practices / departments can meet and build up their own in-house network.
